what do you do here? i juggle a full time day job at j.crew running social media with freelance photography and travel writing. i’m never not working!
what does a normal day for you entail? a 6am alarm followed closely by a single shot cortado from bluestone lane coffee. i work on my freelance projects before heading to the office around 9am. we cook at home most nights, my new favorite cookbook is hartwood: bright, wild flavors from the edge of the yucatan. alternatively we’ll eat out at a local spot in williamsburg, our favorites are rabbit hole for the lamb burger (probably my favorite burger in new york) or japanese at samurai mama.
what makes new york so special? the energy.

best place for something green and healthy? i had to think really hard about this one! i’m not sure, maybe my kitchen?!
favourite spot for a sundowner have & meyer, a little italian speakeasy joint. st mazie is also super fun for cocktails and live jazz.

favourite weekend getaway from nyc? montauk in la guaguita, our little westfalia camper van.
next trip…? a six month road trip around the us in said van, so unbelievably excited!!
what are some of the quirky things you always do when traveling? i’m always up at sunrise for the best light, no matter how jet lagged i am. i also love traveling alone!
what’s an interesting fact about you that most people wouldn’t know? i used to skateboard and can still do a mean kick flip.
