Welcome to its beautiful here, a glimpse into my travels of the past five years since quitting corporate life in Sydney for a life on the road. A collection of curated travel guides, motivated and inspired by the heartwarming, the unusual, the beautiful people and places I have been lucky enough to encounter along the way. As you know, travel can be exhilarating and exhausting, inspiring and intimidating all at once. But with every personal connection the world gets smaller and more navigable. I am so inspired by the people I meet and their stories. I am forever trying to uncover unique, interesting and beautiful local people, places and things to share with you. If you find here even the smallest bit of inspiration to accompany you on your next adventure, I will be happy.

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.

Wishing you happy and love-filled adventures!

With love, Gigi xx

Describe yourself in 3 words or less: Curious, adventurous, kind.

What gets you out of bed each day? RY X's Howling, and sunshine.

Currently obsessing over... all things Portugal, including Vinho Verde, and a century-old farm retreat in Alentejo called Sao Lourenco do Barrocal; my Balaeric ring by Lucy Folk; Johnny Ripe apple pies; my Bodha Ground Ritual incense; my niece Poppy and new baby nephew Jack; a little town in Austria called Bad Gastein (known as the 'Berlin of the Alps'); getting up on a longboard (I'm still trying!); the new Mitchelton Hotel in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley; cooking with thyme; Sri Lanka; and Yogi detox tea.

What's on your stereo at the moment? Sylvan Esso, Florence (always), Sharon Van Etten, Khruangbin, Bay Ledges, The National, Patti Smith, Radiohead, Lord Huron, Father John Misty, and Daryl Braithwaite : )

Who is inspiring you? My two sisters.
